- Lengths available for OM3 ST ST fiber cables: 0.5 Meter to 300 Meter.

OM3 and OM4 LOMMF are designed for Ethernet of 10GB/s where OM3 can support this bandwidth up to 300 meters and OM4 up to 550 meters. OM3 is backwards compatible to OM2 and OM4 is backwards compatible to OM3 and OM2.
What does it mean if a fiber optic cable is designated as 50/ 125 μm?
These terms refer to the diameter in microns of a fiber optic cable’s core and cladding. The first set of numbers – 50 refer to the diameter of the fiber cable’s core. The second set of numbers – 125 refer to the diameter of the outside of the fiber cable’s cladding.
