If the SC to FC interface is required, the FC to SC Fiber Patch Cord is used in the fiber optic network connection. FC to SC Fiber Patch Cord comprises of a patch cable that has one end with the SC UPC fiber optic connector and the other end with the FC UPC fiber optic connector. As both of the SC and FC fiber optic connectors of FC to SC Fiber Patch Cord come in UPC surface polish finish, insertion loss will be minimized. The FC to SC Fiber Optic Patch Cord will come in different lengths and optical fiber types to suit different networking needs.
The FC to SC Patch Cord is available in both single mode and multimode versions, and is fully intermateable with FC products. Both single mode and multimode versions FC to SC Fiber Optical Patch Cord come with a zirconia ceramic ferrule with pre-polished PC profile and convex spherical end. These endface types allow for faster polishing, and low back reflection and optical loss,while ensuring maximum repeatability.
