1×8 PLC Splitter SC APC feature low IL& PDL, high isolation suit for 1260nm~1650nm optical fiber signals’ splitter and distributing in PON networks. 1×8 PLC Splitter SC APC with one input and 8 output, assembled with 9 units SC/APC fiber optic connectors. 1×8 PLC SM Splitter SC APC use the G657A fiber and the max bending radius of the fiber is 15mm. 1×8 PLC Splitter SC APC Cassette Module directly with 2.0mm fiber terminals, tail length according to customer specified.

I have a question regarding PLC splitter. Is there any way to make it bi-directional, if you shine light into fiber 4, you will see any light out of the IN fiber?

Hi, PLC splitter is generally used in PON network, if you use it in PON network, then it can meet your requirement, but if not, it can not achieve the bi-directional transmission. Because if multiple transceivers in the same wavelength from fiber 4 transmit signals to the IN fiber transceiver, then this transceiver cannot distinguish the signals. And PON network adopts Time division multiplexing technology, so the transceiver can distinguish the signals from different transceivers.
